Thank you! They don't look particularly appetising but they're chunky. I think I'll leave them be. I looked at an image on a website and thought Lurid Bolete but it said it could be mistaken for something a bit poisonous so discretion and all that.
Edit 24 hrs later, looks a little less appetising after I knocked it over.

I know you can eat any fungi once but some won't kill you. I just found these in a quiet corner of my garden. Are they instant death?
