  • I can't say for sure but if it were mine I'd be ballparking split cost as below, the mixed mid/low level group isn't really doing the frame justice from a collectors point of view... I may very well be wrong!
    Chorus Headset - £20/35
    Veloce 9 speed shifters - £20/50
    Veloce 9 speed rear derailleur - £20/35
    Record front derailleur - £15/25
    Daytona chainset - £25/45
    Campy seatpost - £15/35
    Monoplanar calipers. - £45/65
    Veloce hubs. - wheels £120/150
    Ambrosio Excellence rims.
    Cinelli stem and bars. £40/60

    Frame and forks - £300/500

    Top end total - £1000

  • Yeah, I always prefer a complete groupset. I do have a full Record groupset but I want to keep that. Plus, I actually had bought this bike and it had even lower end mixed parts on it.

    Do you reckon it is worth splitting? I was originally thinking £800 for the full bike but I had no interest. I wonder if it is because of the current climate high expenses.
