  • Anyone need one of these?

Allows fitting of maxi-cosi baby seats. Requires four bolt holes in your deck or bucket or whatever.

    Will exchange for beer.

  • A wooden frame on top of the transverse bars. The bullitt is rear facing so I didn’t have to remove a wheel while still having access to the trunk.

  • @Vince and @thebrenthamtaffy ... You guys have the Douze as e-bike version, right? Lately I have been musing on retro-fitting mine with a mid drive, but not sure if my older iteration would allow for it. Could you guys upload a pic of the BB area so I can compare how it's done?

EDIT - I think this sort of arrangement is what I'd need:

  • @pascalo i’m Still on 100% leg power only! @Vince does have a mid drive fitted and it should from memory fit like the Bafang you show above locating on the BB shell. You wouldn’t be able to fit a Bosch style mid drive without a frame builder getting involved.

Douze have changed their frame design with a modular plate system for different configurations now to eliminate to simplify production iterations.

  • Douze sells adaptor brackets for various e-drives.

Actually asked for a quote for an EP8 mount last week.

"kit de motorisation Shimano EP8, nous avons les brides de stock au prix de 266,33€ (hors frais de port)."

  • That's for the V2 with the modular frame design though, right? My model predates that.

  • @PhilDAS you should test ride a Douze. Far superior handling to a Bullitt and the tight turning circle thanks to the cable steering makes manoeuvring a loaded bike in tight spaces so much easier. My wife loves riding our Douze and has done since day one. She refused to ride the Bullitt we had on test once she had ridden the Douze.

  • Interesting. I do have an Omnium already though which is perfect for my needs and I have no problems with :)

  • Lovely machines the Omnium's! If you're happy with that, a Bullitt or Douze isn't gonna' offer you much more, unless you went with a 800mm Douze for extra capacity. I just like the challenge of seeing how you can carry lots of random sized things on two wheels... :)

  • This is looking so good now!

  • Have purchased a Ute recently and want to make a pair if covers for the rear to stop my boy putting his hands/feet near the wheel. I know you can buy them but they are pricey and pretty easy to make. Is there a go to material that people are using for this?

  • Pinch a couple of estate agent's signs?

  • Has anyone had an out of warranty service on a Bosch motor in London, mine's on an urban arrow family, and if so where?

  • Yes, mine is a 2017 V2.
Didn't know there were V1 models in the UK

  • Loads on the floor everywhere so you'd be doing estate agents a favour

  • I have acquired some estate agent signs for exactly this purpose. Ended up with two sets so you are welcome to a pair if you can get to Paddington or Brighton

  • Price and location? Potentially interested.

  • sorry same as it was sold for so £950

  • I received my Douze Eco box in France today.

    All very lightweight!

I offered to send them to MadJax so he can copy them.

Please note the child seat kit only includes 1x bench so if you want the 2x benches set up, you'd need to order 2x.

  • Can I ask where people store their heavy chain locks whilst cycling (Urban arrow family) so they're not clanging around in the bucket?

  • Hunky.

Wife doesn't want to wear it...
