• I can't really tell what happened due to the edits but classifieds section really does have a community feel. That means people look out for hucksters and obstinate sellers who aren't interested in adjusting their prices based on feedback - that will make for a rowdy thread. The positive side of the classifieds community is that people put things up for sale, learn how much they are really worth, maybe learn something they didn't know otherwise, and have had some new interactions with people on the forum. You learn names, who knows what about which bike (and non-bike) bits. People will tolerate a lot in here but it's not far off to say that what people won't tolerate is intolerance (or arrogance).

    So as a new fixed rider and new on here don't be quick to dash off, there's good stuff around. FWIW I massively overpaid for my first fixed and I had to basically give it away :(
