Ha, I saw somebody on the other side of the street earlier today wearing shorts just like that (alas without the tights) and thought to myself "wow, those are amazing and ridiculous at the same time", had to admit he did pull it off though (also wearing a fat mustache and a trucker hat and aviator glasses 😅)
Speaking about tights (as in: two-in-one shorts) - why are there so little running shorts without them / without liners? Especially short ones? Everybody seems to agree that running without liner / adding a "custom" one yourself is way more comfortable?
