You have to sit in them to know. I found if it had a convex curve at the lip where my back/shoulders/neck would go it was much more comfortable than if it the concave of the bath just turned 90 degrees to become the flat horizontal “top” if that makes any sense.
There were two German steel brands that had various models that did this - Bette and Kaldewei. Ended up buying something based on comfort which was nothing at all like I expected.
