  • I suspect that the inner tube is increasingly becoming something you only carry incase your tubeless system goes tits up.

    With tubeless tyres costing £60,70 or 80 each and sealant that could be £30 or 40+ for a half decent size bottle, the humble inner tube is probably such a low cost part of the system that they are seen as disposable.

  • The other factor is the quick fix patch repair are far more common than a dedicated puncture repair kits.

    I can’t remember ever selling them, maybe once or thrice a year?
