  • Good call. Canal boats pump out the dirtiest pollution for sure, but I think the ecological damage caused by vehicles travelling to remote places (think noise pollution affecting birds, roads being barriers to the natural movement of fauna, the massive wasteland of infrastructure required to drive the cunting things) combined with the misty eyed belief of the occupants they are communing with nature AND all the CO2, and there's a higher volume of them, puts them at the top of the shit pile. People burning solid fuel on canals in cities are mostly just killing each other. It's wild it's still legal considering its so deadly. https://www.bhf.org.uk/what-we-do/news-from-the-bhf/news-archive/2020/march/open-fires-wood-burners-bad-health
