• I have a couple of Thule racks on the car roof, and the wheeltrays either keep falling off or getting nicked, it's very odd... So I'm thinking about getting a few Voile straps instead to keep in the car and then deploy to fasten the wheels to the racks when needed. Firstly, I assume they would be strong enough for that? Secondly, any ideas what length straps I would need for that use - can't quite work out how to get the measurement of the Voiles right, so if anyone can advise that would be most helpful - thanks

  • I went for 15" with keepers, seemed to be closest match. Will report back in case of use for others in future.

  • Report back is that length was spot on, and that functionally they are excellent for the task - better and quicker than the actual wheel trays and straps in fact, and super solid when cinched down. Happy days. 👍🏼
