Question for those of you making your own peanut butter - how do you get it to actually blend? Having a go for the first time and I’ve been running the blender for about half an hour and all I have is powdered peanuts spread around the side of the bowl.

Moar nutz.

You need to reach a critical mass so they can't escape the blade. A little additional oil sometimes helps too.

Thank you.

I have done that and run the blender for another year or so and now have a mixture that closely resembles slightly damp sand.

At this rate it’ll cost more in electricity than just buying a kilo of Meridian!
