I was team no shade but it does in fact look much better. Very, very subtle. Nice!

Very short, lol!

First session lining after he drew it on, was 1hr of tattooing.

First session of stripes was 1hr and I had to tap out it was so painful, numbed it this time and did 1h 45, only stopped as I had to go to a meeting!

Will def be numbing the rest

I promised myself a break from tattoos for a while but then I was at a fundraising bbq yesterday and there was a girl doing handpokes...
No coverings or anything this time!

Pain with tattoos is so interesting. My back was easily the least painful tattoo I've had done. Not as big as yours but knocked it out in a sub 5 hour session.

My back was by far the worst I’ve had, I had got a bit pissed a few days before so couldn’t quite get in the right head space which definitely didn’t help.

I'm thinking about a chest piece but with the amount of detail I'm usually after I've never had a sub 5 hour session to begin with haha.

Longest was 9 hours which was enough.

That’s brutal. My back was by far the most painful tattooing experience. Did like 15h over 3 days and it killed me and the artist. Looking forward to seeing the finished piece.

What was your most painful? It is interesting as you say… chest, stomach, ribs, feet are not fun, but my back was just another level. Everything else like my legs and arms was almost relaxing. I don’t have anything on my head/neck, that doesn’t sound fun.

Haven't had anything done on any part of my chest, but have something on at least every other part of every limb. Worst place - without a doubt - was my calf. I absolutely fucking hated it. I was sweating, uncomfortable, twitchy. It was just horrid. I haven't had my other calf tattooed for this reason. Haven't had knees done either.

I slept all the way through 3x 4hr sessions on my upper back(is overly detailed). Back was prob my easiest overall aside from stuff on upper arm.
Armpit has been the only real bastard so far and I’m eyeing up getting the other done so can’t be that bad!
Ring finger also sucked but was over in seconds.

I don’t have anything on my legs(fucking psoriasis) but my ribs and chest have been poked by loads of people over the years. Ribs is def in the ‘good’ pain category.

I'd say back was 2nd worst place, hands down the ribs were the worst. Also had tattoo on the inside of ring finger which was spicy, but same as Ed, over in 15 mins so not that bad.

Nipples third worst

Although I just realised that’s reverse chronological order so I could have recency bias

Funny bone is unpleasant.

Knee was the only tattoo I tapped out early on, 3 hours was enough for me.

Ribs worst for me too, closely followed by just under the kneecap.

All the tattoo douchebags on here need to do a meet up and take one of those cheesy Victorian tattooed sideshow group picture looking stern and humourless :D
