  • Saw this in Ponte.
Did notice the german medal was the most expensive there...

    Edit:
Apologies for the huge pic of it too, was on my phone.

  • I’m a bit skeptical.. where is the pilot? Feel like you wouldn’t leave a helicopter running while you pop round to open the door and let the passengers out. But maybe it’s legit. Did lol anyway!

  • I wonder how this panned out

  • Guy’s face of shock, terror and expectation is very convincing.

Since her knees are fully bent, it’s likely she’s at the apex of her jump. Since her hands aren’t messy stumps, I’d say she got away unscathed. Looks like she jumped from the landing skid 🤦‍♂️

  • I'd like to hear how she'd have explained to the insurance company how her phone got smashed.

  • Did notice the german medal was the most expensive there...

Fairly sure this is the same trend everywhere. I don't get it. I'd like to hope it's not due to some closet reverence of Nazism. But you do wonder...

I read that as 'gammon medal'. Same same.

  • Obvious Photoshop. But funny.

  • I dont think it is, just edgelords are easy to part from their money.

  • Ashford, Mddx. Is this for serious?

  • Well, they've saved some money on the signwriting.

  • Looking at Google there is more than one Coscutter?

  • They should be prosecuted for crimes against kerning.

  • Suppliers of fine lettuce, why would you doubt them?

  • It's the tip of the iceberg

  • Re Nazi memorabilia: have to say I was quite surprised to find a 'fully illustrated and unexpurgated' serialisation of Mein Kampf for sale in East Dulwich market just now. In between the reclaimed rugs and artisanal popcorn.

Edit: I didn't ask the price, but the stallholder did genuinely offer me a box of declassified US military secret documents for £1250.

  • Edit: I didn't ask the price, but the stakeholder did genuinely offer me a box of declassified US military secret documents for £1250.

They’re unlikely to be the original docs, and you can request copies of declassified federal documents easily. I wonder what their angle was.

  • declassified

    Boring
    TS/SCI or nothing

  • It was an original copy of General Bradley's report on his Normandy campaign in 1943-44, and declassified at the end of the war, so no need to trouble Judge Reinhart.

  • Re re Nazi memorabilia: I have a csb from 2004-6 ish.
Are you sitting comfortably? Then I’ll begin. We had a request from a police station to assist in a warrant to search for evidence of reactivation of officially deactivated firearms. I wasn’t privy to the details from the informant but the warrant was granted so we went to a classic car hire business owned and run by a Mr Dicks (name changed, though relevent) at his home address. He was a registered firearms certificate holder. Anyway this guy was very accommodating and was very helpful and we were given access to his massive double garage. His wife and two young daughters were always nearby and he seemed like a nice chap.
It was like a shrine to all things Nazi. He had absolutely everything you could think of that was owned or touched by Hitler, Göring, Himmler etc. but he was adamant that he was not a Nazi just an avid collector. We seized a couple of hundred firearms and left. A few weeks later he got all the weapons back as they were all legal, end of story.
HOWEVER about 18 months later we were requested again for a search of Mr Dicks’ premises. This time it was following a report from his eldest daughter regarding herself and her fears for her soon to be 10 years old sister. The age of 10 was when her sexual abuse started and she expected the same for her sister. We found a lot of very relevant items which corroborated all aspects of the complaint and he was subsequently convicted.
So in this story Nazi memorabilia was owned by someone who seemed alright but turned out to be a proper wrong’un.

  • Back in the 30s my granddad had a German pen pal. They would both have been early teens I think. They only exchanged a few letters but Mum still has them (they are in English) and they mention in passing about being part of Hitler youth and how good Mr Hitler is for the country.

  • And how did his German penpal feel about the Nazis?
