Go, me? Not on a Tuesday evening for the second round of the who cares cup. Was watching a documentary on lions.

All over it. We smashed Shrewsbury yesterday with 81% possession, 700 passes and 1 shot on target.

Just checking, do we care about Carabao cup results?
I do. But we squeaked past Fleetwood 1-0 so I’m not exactly going to come on here and give it the big one. Fulham out was a big shock. Crawley are pretty much bottom of the football league.

I do. Good to get a win, even if it meant playing a full first team against a league one outfit to get it.
Almost certainly will get Man U away in the draw now. -

Almost certainly will get Man U away in the draw now.
Anyone remember when that was a big deal?

And... There we go. It's, shall we say, 'surprising' that this fixture comes up so often.

Warm balls?
Glad to see we can get this cup out of the way at the first time of trying.
Don’t get me wrong I like what Tuchel is trying to do but I have no clue whether this so called 3-4-3 which technically is a 5-2-3 without the ball is the best way to get the best out of your forward players. Likewise it leaves the midfield exposed at the best of times, forwards are isolated against a low block. Other than Reece James and Koulibaly I don’t think anyone is a certain starter. If I here one more time how intelligent Mount is without the ball I’m going to have a coronary. Havertz isn’t a 9. The inability to get the best out of Lukaku (equal blame for player(s) and coaches) is not a great reflection on anyone either. City to win by a 3 goal margin
Rant over.

Ahahaa
You just knew it was going to happen ffs.
Though we look much improved as a whole in that second half. I’m half gutted I turned down tickets now. Would have been an unbelievable mission from Cardiff though. -

Timewasting under scrutiny: https://www.theguardian.com/football/blog/2022/aug/25/time-wasting-needs-tackling-manchester-united-liverpool
Presumably the same smooth brain gang who dreamt up VAR have suggested stopping the clock. This of course would nothing to speed games up, the real problem, just encourage ever more tedious sitting down and pretending to be hurt.
The answer already exists, let the physio on the pitch during play as happens in Rugby. Injured players are seen more promptly, those feigning injury do nothing but deny their team a player. Serious injuries that need more attention can be given more attention by the referee blowing up.

Fulham are definitely trying all they can to claw back their promotion investments. Ticket prices are fully mental.
-
• #162064
I feel like a cheaper pie is better, so the table should be the other way around.
-
• #162065
Brighton does have good pies.
My post-match local does leftover pies for a quid after the match (admittedly pints are only £2.50 so it can be a cheap night).

Premier League already seems a bit mental this year.
City 2 down and Liverpool 4 up in 30 mins.

Can't help but feel Liverpool might have done better by spreading their goals across a few more games.
Calm down - I've got a day job.
Was hoping for a cup run this year and, like every year, I'm disappointed. No idea if we deserved to lose or anything. Have read zero reports.
Did you go?
