Mudguard question.
Having moved to 38c tyres I've got two mudguard options. What's better,
a) 60mm guards that look a bit wide for the tyre, but better coverage, less aero as wind catches overhang?
b) 45mm mudguards that look quite narrow, less coverage sideways but look sleeker?
Edit the 60s are already on the bike, so less faff
Personally wouldn't be able to tolerate 60mm over 38 and would HAVE to swap.
Do you care about the potential aero disadvantage? I run 60mm mudguards over 42c tyres and feel fine. Run it for a while and see if it ends up bugging you. You can always install new mudguards at a later date.
