Nice. Is that a bell on the cables?

Yes, I can't remember the brand, but @withered_preacher recognized it the other day.

Great proportions on this one.

The owner, I believe, is quite unconventional
I've seen him in a beret, eating Korean Fried Chicken.
Amongst a variety of other unconventional situations .
I'd avoid him if you can.

I still prefer triples on my mountainbikes as it gives me better chain lines (and chains live longer that way...). Never used one on a road bike, I must confess. For whomever may be looking for a triple chainset: I have several unused ones in the attic (road and offroad, Shimano, Campy, Sugino, Sram,...).

Still one of my favourite triples

A triple, photographed in the lightest gear (preferably fully packed) is a form of flexing like a hhrb normally flexes in the biggest gear.

re: steerer Ahem yeah that was its first outing, hadn’t really figured out what I was doing there then, since replaced with bullhorns at the top of the totally uncut steerer.
Love your imagination of me dancing sober like a nutter. I actually am very like that.
@mashton yep trying to poison me with unclean chicken

A bike with coloured brooks springs can never be considered a beauty...

Been thinking of getting some ‘Make mine a triple’ stickers made.

Love that idea. I’d take a few “Make mine a triple.” stickers.

Triple more by accident than design when the stock cranks failed soon after purchase and triple was the only cranks in stock (i was just about to go on a trip). Learned to love it particularly when cycling laden which there's been plenty of. Had bike shops try and convince me of the benefits of 1X which presumably works fine if you've got a fleet of bikes but less so when your bike needs to function like a Swiss army knife (tourer, gravel, commuter etc)
