Doesn’t look like it’s in stock anywhere, similar to the other BBB, Brand-X, and Origin8 posts.
May just have to wait for something to appear on eBay/classifieds -

There's a US shop offering the Origin8 branded version on ebay, but they want over £50 including postage and you'll probably get stung for import taxes too, so it's going to end up being £75.

Just picked this one up.
- The frame seems in nice condition, only some minor scratches on a first inspection.
The wheels runs smooth and true.
The rest of the components are in a interesting condition.
For 15 EUR I think i did fine. Just have to figure out what to build now.

Not bad money at all!!
I have a 19" in the shed waiting to be built for the gf. I didn't realize how heavy the framesets are!!

Haha, yes they are not very lightweight. Love the styling/graphics on the old Specialized frames though.
Im leaning to a "winter work horse" build. Single speed or 1x7/8/9, drop bars and full cover fenders.

the paint is lovely on mine but my gf wants to paint it as she doesnt like the name or graphics! what a shame...

That's lovely!

my gf wants to paint it
Don’t give people like this nice bikes with perfectly good paint and nice retro vibes!! 😅.
What I usually say is ‘build it up and ride it around for a bit to make sure you love it. If you paint it you’ll really damage the value and won’t be able to resell as easily’ to at least put them off for a bit..

I've tried this...
Maybe the "it is heavy" will make her not want to spend much money on it just in case she doesn't like it..

I've not been ridden my road bike for ages but I want to get back to it, so I've switched back to drops from flats on my sscxy commuter to try and get my body used to the position again.

One brake cable short of renovating a £50 second hand, beat up, red Specialized Hotrock for my daughter who had grown out of her previous bike. Not a perfect paint job, but considering the abuse this will get, probably good enough! Used Kustom Canz sparkle pearl purple to turquoise to coarse silver base, covered with 2k clear. Used a Posca pen for the encouragement on the top tube.

Painted bars are a nice touch!
It may just be the dad in me - but the message on the top tube is nice as well. -

Yeah, there's a hill on the school run that she tends to lag on, not because she can't get up it, but partially because she couldn't be arsed to change gear and didn't like grip shift. Hence I changed it to trigger shifters.

hah, my daughter insists on going everywhere in 'top gear' even if it means grinding up hills.
I'm sure she does it just to annoy me! 😂 -

She's a winner in either case! #shutupknees

Loaded for the ride to Paris this weekend. The Cherub loves a functional build.

After lusting over those riv step thrus but with no money in the bank I have bought this beautiful french bicycle. It is all original with lovely mafac brakes. Top tube is long enough for me, hopefully the seat post will give up and let loose in a short time. i will use an old stem and sand down from 22.2 to 22.0, throw on these bars, 38mm tyres and I will be good to go. The chain guards is so so beautiful .
Edit : bars fitted in stem okay. Can’t turn in a tight circle without bashing my knee but for a light commute it’ll be just fine, my old Dutch bike in NL was the same. I think I’m going to buy some modern silver levers so I can set up the brakes nice and tight as well as new pads. I’m too lazy to make incremental changes with a spanner at the brake end. Cable outer will be bright and colourful, maybe I’ll add a wald. The rear rack is really solid. I don’t want to put a crate on it but I might make a tasteful sheet maybe perforated deck of some kind to extend the width of it, or I’ll leave it as is. Also seatpost could do with being longer but not bad so far for a £36 bike. I think the nitto bars cost more.

Panaracer gravel king 26x2.1Built up by a pal for me (paid him obviously) so I have to go on rides with him. Good deal tbh.
Only had a short ride so far, but feels absolutely spot on. Will get a kid carrier on the back at some point, but will probably need a beefier back wheel for that.

You'll want a Kalloy SP-368, but you might find it with other distributor branding
