do i need 650b sized mudguards? or wide 700c ones with some spacers
Depends on the external diameter of the tyre. If your 650b tyre is the same ext diameter as the 700C, like if you install fat bike tyres, then go with 700c. If it’s smaller, the curvature will be different, so you might want a smaller mudguard.
