Nice bike, high price. GLWS

While way to big for me it looks like a nice bike to ride. But sorry to say this, the absolut not period correct build with not so rare (and hence expensive) parts, makes it highly unlikely to find a buyer at this price imo.

And if you had to pay almost 900£ (taken that you paid 175£ for the frame) for those parts you have made someone really happy...

From my experience especially in classic mountainbikes the only thing of collectible value is the frameset. Most certainly the asking price was really low, I assume over here in Germany you could have easily triple the ammount. But maybe there is someone needing a rideable piece of MTB history (agreed the 80s parts are not always so well performing).

Frame is nice, parts are meh, price is bonkers.
You might want to part it out and sell it piece by piece if you want to get close to what you’re asking.
Obviously once you’ve fitted a part(even if you’ve just ridden it round the block once) you’re gonna get called out asking full rrp…

Tasteful build, but... yeah HOW MUCH

Bit big for me but about £450 is probably the absolute upper mark on here for a mismatched ss bike that will only fit a handful of people.
Maybe pop it on eBay for a week with a reserve at your current asking price to gauge its desirability?
