when using a vehicle the size of a living room through the narrow streets of a UK town centre, that they are completely ridiculous.

No, they just get angry at other people taking up space. On the narrow roads near me they'd rather drive into you than drive on a verge.

Yeah, I notice this too. Buy a vehicle that could drive up the ridge of a canyon during a nuclear winter, but also refuse to mount one wheel on a small grass verge to help another human not fear for their safety under the wheels of your megadeathtruck🤷
