Sram bb30 are mostly not true bb30 though so it's probably fine

Yeah I think the 11 speed red I had was a particularly short example.
How does taking the preload adjuster work? Is the idea that once it’s installed it will be snug enough to not have to bother with preload?
Yeah it's either snug enough or you whack a wavey washer in, I can't remember entirely. Been a few years since I did it
