Do you mean the door seal? I take the seal off ours every few months so that I can clean it properly. It's a fiddle, but very doable.

Yes, a couple of times. It's a bit of a fiddle but not too tricky. A YouTube video for close to your model will help a lot.

I replaced the door seal on a Hotpoint washer I inherited with the house. Had to dismantle half the front of the thing, but it wasn’t anything that needed any skill, just patience

Anyone replaced the seal on a washing machine? Specifically a Beko washing machine (I know, father forgive me, I have sinned etc.) I've found the right seal online for £40 but a local company has quoted me £40 for the seal and then £60 to fit. The machine cost £200 so I'm loath to throw half its value at it if I can fit the seal myself. Then again is £60 worth me not getting increasingly irate and gammon-faced about my inability to fit another seal (and also not have to flip the thing over to retrieve a child's sock form the pump every second week). I'll likely youtube this shortly but any input/advice gratefully recieved.
