I wonder if they were being chased / racing?
from a quick look on streetview, they went through a couple of barriers, off a 6ish ft drop, through a carpark taking out a couple of teslas and charging points, over a waist high ish wall somehow? and through another couple of fences, before ending up on the tracks.
40mph limit on that section...

The technology, power and speed of cars is incredible, but I don't understand why we aren't able to make doing 120mph in a 40mph zone is simply impossible with geo fencing, speed limiters etc.

If the parked Tesla was up against the wall/fence next to the tracks, it could have launched the Range Rover over it? There was a lot of energy in the accident with a heavy car moving at high speed.
Incredible escape for the man in the Tesla! RIP the passenger.
