  • Hello Bromptoneers. Recently picked up my first Brompton, a sparkly grey P-Line to help with either end of my fairly long South Western Railway commute.

Are there any tips for the best way to travel with it on the train? There are no luggage racks except overhead, I don't much want to leave it unattended or spend over an hour standing by the toilets, but slotting it between the seat rows doesn't leave much room for my legs. Unless there are some rows with greater space?

  • Either stand with it in a doorway, or put it down by the doorway and sit in the seats by the door.
Depends on how full your train gets and how much you need to sit down.

  • Definitely get a rack. If you can get the P line version one or if it fits H&H mini rack.

Game changer and helps to roll around on the platform and much stable when folded away position.

  • Another SWR rider here. Each carriage has a set of seats that are back to back. My Brompton fits in the space between them. Good if you can get to those seats first!
