Great advice and thanks for the links!

Great tip, this is the only problem I've found with cable disc! Are the cable oilers just to form a break in the cable?
-
• #10529
You cut the outer to fit the oiler. The oiler has a small hole behind the rubber O-ring that is perfectly sized for a WD40 straw.

Any suggestions for straight 1 1/8" carbon disc forks? Carbon or alloy steerer. Clearance for 32c tyres, ideally not loads more and mudguard mounts.

Ive been using JuinTech GTF for a year. Works well in dry condition. Once condition gets wet, for some reason the cable pull is easily messed up almost to having no bite at all.

Has anyone had any good experiences with 12 speed, wide range cassettes?

I’ve been looking at buying the Juin Tech GT-F which is the 4 piston version. Basically a copy of the Yokozuna Ultimo
Pretty sure the Yokos are just licenced versions of the Juins

I dont think its a faulty ones. It’s an OK brake for what it is. I just think it would require more regular maintenance, use good compressionless cables than full hydro.
If you know how to work on your bike, i guess this shouldn’t be a problem.

not sure how straight (rake) it is..

Hybrid hooks, interesting concept but seems like just hedging their bets.

That’s crazy light and very good value with Bitex hub set.

What is the actual cost of a Carbonda CFR696 delivered to the UK?

Is there an Aethos rip off yet?

Maintenance isn't a problem for me, not working in the wet is! I need an upgrade from my TRP spyres that with compressionless housing worked really well but they have had their day now. 25oish for Juin Techs maybe a bit of a gamble but I had read loads of good reviews, next option would be shimano r7020 shifters and calipers for 500ish. A big difference in price from £120 spyres.

250 quids for JT GTF? Wow got mine around 160 quids but that was a year a go tho.
Yes not working in the wet is disappointing. Not sure if i didnt set it up correctly or lousy cable setting but it has happened twice on 100km wet rides.
Im going full hydro soon as i managed to score sram force hydro mech 2x to replace my sram force x JT GTF.

Been looking for something similar with rim brakes... if you find one let me know. The Winspace SLC is promising but it's also not terribly cheap

When my partner bought one back in April, it was...
480USD for frame-52-BSA68,fork-with mounts ,seatpost and clamp with standard matte finish 12USD for headset 26USD for F&R axles 5USD for derailleur hanger(the frame come with one derailleur hanger) 245USD by WXY,tax free shipping ,shipping time is about 15-35 days
Custom paint, blue-purple chameleon in this case, was $125 extra.
Shipping for 2 frames in one box is $285 tax free so it makes sense to buddy up.

Anyone knows if the various ant+ cadence sensors on Ali are ok or better to avoid?

i have a wahoo tickr and an aliexpress one, they work exactly the same and give the same data
The only modification I made was to install a rubber V-brake cable cover over the expose cable on the rear. In flat-mount orientation, rain/SFAB/mud can follow the exposed cable into the outer, which is not good. I also run a cable oiler down by the BB on the rear outer so I can spray WD40 if I feel it’s getting a bit sticky. TBH I haven’t needed to since installing the rubber cover.
