Schwalbe Smart Sams? I had a pair of them on a tour around Dorset a few years back and were excellent. Fast enough on the road, lovely and grippy on the off road.
Maybe not quite slick enough though? Schwalbe Hurricane could be a good alternative, or Halo Twin Rail?
