Got a kitchen fitter/builder coming over on Monday to have a look at requirements for our big rip out etc. Can anyone see anything that they'd reconsider?
Floors are block and beam and mega cold at the moment, but want to minimise the floor height difference, I think just getting rid of the tiles and replacing with some underlay and some sort of wood floor would go a long way from where its at right now.
Right hand wall is an old fireplace so we'll need to raise the lintel to get an extractor in there.
The space around the door on the left wall we're planning on leaving with more space than we need so we can widen the doorway into more of an arch when we get round to rebuilding a utility room as tiny side return room.
At first glance it feels like there isnt much worktop compared to the size of that aga.
Wonder if making the bottom left bit the fridge and a larder might be an option?
