They feel like they roll a lot faster. But, different wheels (very different rims), different wheel sizes, tubeless vs non-tubeless etc. Feel less dead to me.
On a personal level I just really don't like Jan Heine either, so I will not support RH. I only have RH tyres because they came on the Stumpy when I bought it.

Tubeless/Tubeful make a huge difference in feel, a dead feeling tyres get transformed when ridden with tubeless.

My Ultradynamico Mars JFFs (27.5 x 2.3, super-knobby) feel way faster than the GravelKing SKs (27.5 x 2.1, semi-knobby) that I had on my Ritchey before. Both ran tubeless with the same sealant. I initially viewed UD as hypebeast nonsense, but they've proved to be genuinely good (but expensive) tyres.

I think in another thread you mentioned you liked the Ultradynamicos better than the Rat Trap Passes. What's the difference? Looking at a set of Cavas Race.
