There was definitely something a bit different about them. On what I thought was a flat path the front seemed to want to drift to one side (which was novel) and I had to pull it back straight. Weirdly it then seems to be quite draggy and resist turning the handlebar so that corners were done in a series of turns, rather than a smooth sweep. It seemed to resolve a bit though so it might have just been me getting used to them.
Tried out some Paselas as a replacement for the tank-like Conti TourRides that were on my vintage bike. Much nicer and Strava says that my average power has jumped by about 10W (from risible to merely feeble). Took me a while to get used to the handling though, has anyone found the cornering a bit odd, or was it just me learning how to ride them?
