What time is it? Watches and horology

Sadly it’s not mine so I can’t be horribly offended that no one likes it. If I was actually buying one I’m not sure which one I’d go for. Not a problem I’m likely to have unfortunately.

I have to say it’s about 100x the price of my Tissot and it’s not that much nicer. I mean it’s a lot nicer but not 50k plus more.

Indeed. I can (sort of) get my head around why a Rolex retails for £5-10k, but AP feels akin to getting a face tattoo of your P60

I prefer your Tissot 100%. Would never look twice at the AP of it didn’t say what it says on the dial. But then again, I never understood that design. Or the Nautilus for that matter.

Yeah I wouldn’t wear a Nautilus if I was given one not fan at all. Love the Royal Oak though.

Aquanaut for the PP win.

Blue Royal Oak (15400ST?) would be my AP pick - love the dial but i don't think i could ever wear it i public. Would combust out of sheer self-consciousness of the beautifully engineered but ludicrously attention-seeking bracelet.

I think I’d go for a black dial. I like the aquanaut even less than the nautilus. Thankfully have zero interest in PP.

Bulova owned by Citizen. Citizen made Bullhead. Bulova made Bullhead. So I guess Citizen pushed the reissue after they reissued their own Bullheads?

New in. Odd-ish reference from early 90's i hadn't seen prior to a week or so ago. Love it.

Feels like a hybrid between an Alpinist, a BB36 and a Seamaster 300m (Case).

Like that a lot. I assume it’s not rusty, it’s just the reflected light on the hands/markers…?
