• Annoyingly, Crust's website says a size 2 or 3 Zefal will fit the pump peg behind the seat tube. My LBS had a size 3 so I grabbed it. Got it home and it absolutely does not fit, so its on the top tube until I get a size 2.

Also switched out the Selle Anatomica saddle I had. Comfy when it worked, but noisy, constantly lost its tension and ultimately is a saddle that shouldn't exist. They've applied a leather saddle construction method to a material that does not behave like leather and it just doesn't work. Scam. This is a Velo Orange Touring saddle or something. Actually very comfy and it was only $45.

All in all, loving this bike. Have a lot of fun on it whenever I ride it and it does exactly what I wanted it to - which is just a chill flat pedal light off road bike that I can cruise around on. Which is exactly what I do when I ride it.

Still need to get a light but I'll do that when it starts to get dark.

  • This looks absolutely great! Flat pedal fun times are hard to beat.

Can’t help but feel it needs a witslingers frame bag (once the pump has moved) for a final forum touch, which would also leave lots of space for a fork crown mounted light…

  • Not really economical to buy a bag from Europe when there are so many bag makers in the U.S., tbh. I'll probably get something like a Roadrunner Jammer. This bike needs weight over its front wheel, not inside its main triangle. Still be able to mount a light on the for crown or on one of the mounts underneath the canti posts.
