Yeah I've already done Sids in Ladywell and Stonemans' in Catford and they all give the same range of discount. It's the first time I'm doing a bathroom and I'm just unsure how much I should be spending on this stuff and it's not like there's review of the stuff online to tell you which is best for which budget etc ...
A lot of those bathroom showrooms seem to stock the Scudo Core stuff from Harrisons Bathroom which looks good but can't find any info on it online and once installed I don't want to have to touch it again. And I don't know if I trust those showroom people to give me objective feedback on the products.

I am doing my bathroom at the moment and it is my first time. Also after some similar opinions.
I went for this toilet and basin combo from Trafalgar
Now I need an extractor (had a recommendation above) and LED mirror thing - so much choice out there on there.
Looking to get shower, shower tray, basin tap and shower cubicle from a local place.
Shower wise, not sure what to spend. Looking at R2 brand. Cheap concealed is a no go. I want something simple and classic. Not sure if this is worth 3x this
Shower tray, looking at a quadrant one and trying to decide if Scudo is worth 2x price of a Merlyn one. Edit - first one has 10 year g'tee otherone is lifetime, which will be a bit of the price difference but they look very similar
Pop up the road to H E Olby and see what price you can get out of them for the same? They are crosswater stockists and were generous with discounts for me, as well as a quick swap when a towel rail turned up damaged. Otherwise, when I was buying it all Britton Bathrooms as above were hitting me pretty hard with targeted content on insta that looked very similar.
Either that or nip over to Braidwood in the dead of night and steal all the stuff from my old bathroom that I am still sad about leaving behind ðŸ˜
