Hey, is there any reason i can't mount a stem mounted kids seat like this Thule one on my brompton?

One of the guys at work uses a Hamax seat on his Brompton that mounts to the seat post, seems to have been working a treat for him other than the minor inconvenience of the mount stopping the saddle from going all the way down when folded
