• My wife prefers her MTB and has asked me to sell this. She has had it a few years but hardly rode it - it has only done a few hundred km at most. It is in excellent condition, just a few tiny marks and scuffs but no deep scratches, dents or damage and looks really good. It’s nice and clean and everything works perfectly, the chain is a bit grimy but I will try to find a new one.

This was Pearson’s female specific road bike, I don’t think they make it any more. It would of course be absolutely fine for a man or boy of the appropriate size! I would describe it as a higher end aluminium road bike - definitely well above entry level, and worthy of component upgrades. The frame is really quite nice with tidy welds, tapered head tube, internal gear cables, carbon fork etc. As I recall, RRP was about £950, it would be well over £1k at today’s prices.

Compete 10 speed rim brake Tiagra, 50/34T rings, 170mm cranks, 11-32 cassette. The wheels are fairly generic with Shimano hubs, they look like R100 or similar, and 25mm Conti tyres. Reasonable finishing kit, Forza alloy bars and layback seatpost and a 3T stem. The saddle is the original Forza one recovered with nice Alcantara suede. I will include a very basic pair of flat pedals so you can ride it away if required.

I couldn’t find the full geometry chart but from my measurements:

    Size XXS
    ST 41cm c-c, 45cm c-t
    TT 50cm c-c (sloping), 51.5cm effective
    HT 13cm

My wife is 5ft 1in and this fit her nicely with an inline seatpost and shorter stem. I think it would fit someone between 5ft and about 5ft 5in. We didn’t cut the steerer so there is a fair bit of vertical adjustment.

I would prefer not to split this, but if there is no interest in the complete bike over the next few weeks I might sell the components and keep the frame.

    SOLD

Collection in London NW3, but I could possibly deliver within reason - north of the river / inside the M25. I would really prefer not to post, sorry.

Please let me know if you have any questions. Thanks!

    Dave
