These cars are brilliant, I had a 1.4. Tricky to put a bike rack on the back window (but not impossible) but you can fit 2 bikes + loads of luggage in it with the seats folded. I miss mine, it was excellent and so good fuel economy.

Absolutely love these cars, if it was up to me i'd have one. I'm sure they're looking better with age.

Also a sizeable geeky a2 fraternity who wave at each other, which was excellent

I’m based in Cardiff and won’t be able to get to London until early September realistically, but if it’s still around then I’ll definitely be interested in viewing it. I can’t imagine it’ll hang around until then, but I’ll keep my fingers crossed

If this doesn’t sell quick, which it deserves to, there’s a shed thread on pistonheads which would lap this up - the A2 really was a groundbreaking car and deserves some love.
£1,600 for this is a bargain & I would if I could!

The A2 was about 20 years ahead of it's time.. I loved my 1.4 Tdi.. no rust, 60mpg and £30 a year tax.. great motors..

Car still here - welcome to come view it next week, then I’ll think about moving platforms
Thanks for all the nice words, it’s been a great little car. -

Would also suggest http://www.retro-rides.org as a good place to sell this

Had a fair few messages but no viewings :-(
Will move to a2 forum or auto reader if no luck soon
Bump to £1550
Figured I’d give it go on here before the headache of autotrader.
2003 Audi A2 1.6 FSI
106,500 miles
5 speed manual
Electric adjust mirrors, electric windows in front, windey windows in the back
Fairly spacious for a little bubble car, adequate sized boot.
One remote locking key, one standard key.
Selling due to inheriting a car from family member so can’t have two cars taxed and running. I’ve had this about 3.5 years,
Always serviced and taken care of it.
Had full service with new disc pads&rotors, oil filter / fuel / air / pollen filter etc done in 2020 at 101,746
Had timing belt done also in 2020 at 103,182
Had full service last year 08/2021 at 105,545
Recently had four new tyres, new brake calliper & MOT as of May.
As you can see it’s done 5,000 miles in 2ish years, mileage is low for a 19 year old car.
I believe it’s the SE trim package.
Broke down in it once, due to faulty coolant hose, which was replaced. Worked great ever since.
downsides
NEEDS TO BE USED WITH E5 PETROL DUE TO THE INJECTORS, SUPER UNLEADED OR PREMIUM UNLEADED ONLY.
Someone scraped the front drivers side corner when it was parked and kindly drove off
One of the rear seats doesn’t fold down due to the latch being broken, you could get around this by dismantling the seat but you can easily remove the other seat completely so never really bothered me.
Climate control blows cool air not ice cold but probably just needs regassing
Headlights probably need a polish
£1600?
