I thought about a Festina one. There are lots of versions. The one in your pic seems more of a baseball cap. I prefer the one Virenque wore when his team put on their Sunday best for a press conference, and he cried https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fBpoNwTFOZ4

Excellent! Looks a bit stained. Maybe a hand wash with stain remover will restore it.

While I'm here being noisy. Any stylish cycling kit equivalent of http://thecyclelist.co ?
Off the top of my head there are <10 reputable clothing brands and I want to branch out. -

I just picked one from the grailed link. If you have a source for the casquette, do share.

Which casquette do you mean? (And what did you buy from Grailed!)

Never seen that site before, looks like an interesting project.
I don't know of a clothing equivalent. I just googled 'directory of cycle clothing brands' and got many brands I've never heard of. There's masses of stuff out there, but if a brand is online sales only and they don't send review clothing to road.cc etc, we never hear about them. And post Brexit it's more difficult for the big UK sellers like wiggle and chainreaction to source things from Europe.

Got some new bibs the other day - Albion pocket ones. They're great but they're green (didn't have complete say in the colour) & I'm kind of struggling to figure out what colour jerseys I can reasonably wear with them. Got a black jersey which is a decent match but after then I'm out of options (a lot of my tops are medium blue colour range). Any ideas? Being colour blind isn't helping!
For a visual clue, I can tell you what jersey isn't a great match, courtesy of my friends on my stag ride last weekend (or maybe I just need to style it out, who knows?).

Seems to be Albion's suggestion too, not usually a fan of day-glo though!

I'd do mustard yellow, doesn't need to be nasty high viz

Would say blue or orange, dark or light but not mid. Nature tones.

I found a merino cool-lite long sleeve tee on ebay second hand, been wearing it today. It's nice. relatively insulative when sat still but on bike with no windbreak layer it's pretty breezy.

Yeah, that's a good shout, found a PEdALED (weird capitalisation) one I quite like, anyone got any idea on how their sizes fit? I'm a medium Rapha/Albion, small DHB normally. Chart would suggest I'm a medium, but I'm at the bottom of the weight scale & top of the height scale.

My pizzeria cap from Russia has arrived, but it's tiny. Can't wear it. It's child size FFS. https://www.lfgss.com/comments/16633353/

This is sad news. My shimano hat arrived and it feels like it's barely holding together.
Pics of hat placed on head like a small pepperoni? -

No pics, never! At least I can say the seller is reliable. If anyone wants to buy random charity shop tat from St Petersburg, here's your chance. She even threw in a Russian fridge magnet. https://www.grailed.com/ILOVESALE

Has anyone bought a cap from Smith London on ebay? https://www.ebay.co.uk/usr/smith-london/

Waterproof tights exist?
-
• #6323
No. Some with decent DWR treatments will be water resistant for a bit of road spray/light showers, but nowhere near waterproof. Can get overtrousers for a short commute, but a) obviously not stylish, and b) boil in the bag sweaty.
-
• #6324
They do sorta, but they’re v sweaty and the seams aren’t taped so aren’t “true” waterproof. Its usually just the shin, thigh and above-arse-crack panels that have a membrane too
Verge make some but I don’t know where that can be found in the uk unfortunately

Would only be for the commute but not wanting to become a roast duck.
Ill look into the verge stuff. Its really just my butt and avoiding a front guard so maybe an assaver is all I need.
Cheers guys.
I just bought that Etsy one 😏 "mint", we'll see I guess
