Given that the head of their military intelligence stated nearly a year ago that Russia intended to invade in 2022, it’s likely that Ukraine intelligence and psy-ops have been studying what would go down best with western audiences at least since then. Add in their private sector production and marketing companies, and they’ve got one of the most effective propaganda/media efforts in living memory.
