Haha. Snap. Very sturdy trainers. Think mine are 10 years old.

Look great with a bit of patina, I clearly need to wear mine more regularly!!

They are my go to pub bike cycling trainers as well as gigs / festivals etc and have stood up to everything in that time.
The reflective stripes make them ideal for the above. I've only ever given them a wet wipe clean and new laces. Great purchase imo.

Patina in trainers is dirt, right?
-
• #22856
Yep. 10 years of grime. They do have trainer tamers in though. I'm not a monster.

Right, thanks

I’d say patina in trainers is evidence of lived experience.
But I’ve been drinking cider and 3 chilli vodka

If you look hard enough you can see the final remnants of Bobby Gillespie's voice on the tongue from last Friday's Screamadelica gig.

It’s about time someone revived the old Crooked Tongues what I’m wearing page. Those Nastase shoes are nice.

I have a pair of Air Max x Patta Waves Rush (Maroon) in UK9.5. I brought them on a whim and don't really like them. Never worn with box. £100 posted.

i am loving the reverse tick on these Nikes, not loving the price though.
I was in the Crep Store, Lewisham last week..the prices for (assuming) one-offs were staggering, great designer pieces..

I read somewhere the last Travis Scott Nike drop 'raffle' had 2 million+ sign ups in the 30 minute window it was open.
Not sure they announce the drop numbers but it would be considerably lower than 2,400,000.
Probably about 30-50k pairs, so maybe 2% can get them. And don't get me started on bots ruining everything

These are bespoke, made in a small workshop in the Latin Quarter yeah?

Sneaker congnment/resell stores are an absolutely fantastic way to launder money. Allegedly.
"Oh yes we bought loads of shoes for £100 each and sold them at £500, all in cash, so that's where all the profit we are reporting comes from. Not anything else, honest."

Some reseller in USA is going to jail very soon for a host of financial crimes and stupidity like taking pre-orders for 600,000 pairs of cool grey AJ XI. He was buying stuff from Ebay and StockX in bulk to try and keep the whole scam afloat

Been keeping an eye on the Zadeh scam reports. Bought from them once years ago, no complaints. To think he was able to hold $6.1m in cash is quite something.

I got some jordan 4s from zadeh all went OK but there was something dodgy about his methods.
