Brand New! Genesis Fugio 30 gravel bike Reynolds 725 GRX800 large Never Ridden!

As per title, completely brand spanking new. GRX 800 groupset etc.
Genesis sell this for £3200, cheapest I can see online is £2500 so I'll offer this for £2200.

I like Genesis bikes but they are really taking the fucking piss with the pricing of the Fugio. Over 3k for a chromoly framed "gravel bike"? Even the Equilibrium disc is the price of a decent second hand hatchback now. Total bollocks.

Their pricing has really stumped me these days. A fairlight or brother is cheaper.

They seem to be doing what Audi did in the 90s. Take a decent, workaday, unglamorous range of products and make it premium by sexing up the product with marketing and superficial design changes (like the Fugio's "look at me" paint jobs) then massively hiking the price. I'm sure Madison would say it's to do with global supply chains blah blah but I don't buy it. I think they're just taking folk for mugs and gaslighting them into thinking a pretty average product is a really high end one by some puff of alchemic wizardry. The equilibrium is the same decent steel all rounder it was 13 odd years ago when it was brought out . It's just about three times more expensive.

By the way genuinely sorry benjybars for hijacking your post with a rant but if you want over 2k for a fairly average steel bike you are probably not going to get that here. If you do, I will make a donation to the forum as penance.
