Hi All, thanks for your continued comments & insight. Please see below some photos of a Bianchi (in Celeste colour) featuring the exact same fork crowns and an identical serial number engraved in 8mm type on the top of head tube.
The steel is still in great condition - I have had this frame looking sparkling several times in my 10 years of ownership.
sbbohr - I am simply delivering information from a previous post trying to identify this frame on LFGSS.
Sumo - The 'drips' you might be referencing are remanence of lacquer that had previously been applied.
