If I can figure out if they’ll fit my e46 3 series estate and you don’t mind posting, I could be interested.
And 2nd dibs @Dammit ‘s if they match the same criteria and @ChasnotRobert doesn’t want them.

I also have the Cruz set that came off the Panda as it goes. Fit to roof rails (too wide, oddly, for the C-Max and that doesn't have rails). If anyone wants those from here they can have them for free. I don't think they are locking as I might have cheaped out when I bought the new ones and just swapped the lock barrels over.

Not if you're just going to sell them, don't be a dick.

I've put my car into rooftopbox website and it suggests these which look basically the same as the ones you linked to:
looks like yours might be good for my car.

Thule WingBar Edge 9582 | 958200

I have the older Thule wingbars with the big clamp that grabs the rail, as opposed to the band - that type of mount might also be an option for you
Like this (can;t remember the part number)

@Sam_w I’ve been using a Thule box that fits on my bike rack/hitch for the last couple of years. Works really really well, can fit 2 dogs, 3 adults and 2 kids in the car and I use a seasucker on the roof to carry a bike. In the winter I’ve been using the box as firewood storage.

Thanks everyone for the roof bar offers.
I think @brm and @stevo_com bars will both fit. I'm guessing @stevo_com is nearer to me.
If that's ok I'd like to dibs those bars (as in stevo's). Happy to bring a bottle of wine / cash gift / forum donate in lieu.

How wide are they, and how many dollars would you want for them?

I have a set of Thule Evo 108cm silver WingBars (2) no. 711100 going spare if anyone would like them. Just the bars, no clamps but free if they'd suit.
A train ride from London though.

They spring in and out. I'll see if I can find them on the Thule website

Think this is them, annoyingly it doesn’t say what actual width of roofbars it fits (or I’m blind).Edit:
I’m blind.
And annoyingly the bars on the e46 are about 930 at the front and 900 at the back :(

Will check what bars I have on mine dude. Got hands down from big bruv. They work a treat. Just like the e46 does.
I have this idea that mine will die at the time you want to pass yours on .

I’m thinking about ripping out some
of
my upholstery and putting in Dodo sound deadening mat in my rickety peugeot- what do I finish the edges of the mats with? -
• #72044
Lots of advice / how-to content for soundproofing on YouTube.
The mats are adhesive though and get covered by the carpet / door panels when done. Unless I have misunderstood your question, I'm not sure that the finishing matters as it get covered.

Noddy question incoming.
Just got MOT report back all good apart from rear tyre has had a nail in it and so needs replacing - do I have to get this done at the garage or can I go somewhere else to have it done?
-
• #72046
FYI, you'll likely want to get both rear tyres done

Great! They are charging £332 per fitted tyre (Michelin 255/45/20 V) but think I can get it cheaper elsewhere. Also bc im selling the car in the next 6weeks...

I've used a slime repair plug successfully before. Might get you through the MOT.

Tyre shop may be able to fix the puncture for around £10.
is exactly what I'm trying to do by re-purposing some generous forumenger's bars for their previous car(s).
Just trying to work out what will fit - I've now observed that newer cars have rails with no gap beneath them. Mine are the kind with a gap, hence a band type fitting will work.
