Mavic open pro sup with pmp hubs

  • In great shape, super smooth, shimano hub with specific pmp lockring.
Rims have plenty of life. Ideal for classic look bikes but they spin equal to any good modern wheelset.

This italian hubs are i piece of art. Here an idea of their price.

  • Bought these - rebuilt one of the wheels and all this time later, they are back up for sale. Will include cassette and tyres and drop the price to £150 and will post at cost.

  • Any chance of pics? I presume you used them during the last 6 years?

  • Apologies - poor excuse for a sales thread. Yes I used them but only for about 500kms as the bike was a on direct drive trainer for 2 years.

I've put the bike back on the road now and am using it about 50kms / week. They've been back on just over a week.

    Here they are in situ:

  • Interested if they take 11 speed cassette. I’m sad so I’m wondering What’s the freehub noise like

    The original seller said no

  • Hey Wadi2, I'm running a 10 speed cassette with a small spacer. Let me measure up the hub and I'll post a pic (despite what the previous seller said). My understanding is 130mm is 10speed and 131mm is 11speed. It's probably a 'no' but I'll check it for you over the weekend anyway.

The hub itself is made up of 2 groups of 2 teeth - so the teeth that interact with the hub are quite small (rather than say 3 or 4 large) and it makes a kind of 'wizzing' noise. But I'll clean it up, put some light grease in there and record it for you so you can hear it.

  • 11 speed MTB cassette could fit.

I know the older hope pro2 hubs will fit a 11 speed Shimano MTB cassette but not an 11 speed road.

  • They measure up as a 10 speed hub and compared to my 11 speed hub they are about 1mm shorter. Sorry we couldn't make that work.
