The old SR scheme with the Decals in blue or pink on the Top Tube might look cool

Yeah they're really good but that might be a bit too much plain white for my tastes (the slimmer fork and vintage components help break it all up on those).

I think it should work with some dark low-profile rims but tastes are subjective and differ :)
