Norwich Grasstrack Racing

I was just walking on the straw coloured spiky dead thing that used to be the lawn and wondering what tyres would suit it best...

I stacked it turning on the grass at the park yesterday, on winter tyres. So I’d say dry CX tyres, something with a shoulder knob at the least.

I've got cross tubs at 33mm, it is usually the rigour for grass track. Schwalbe do cx clincher at 30mm which is popular if you have the clearance. It is almost a case of whatever you can fit.

What would you recommend for walking? Would modified sliders with spikes work

Would have loved to have been mingling with everyone just have the chance with commentating and many other elements. Need to learn how to delegate!

Great racing today, well done everyone involved. Sorry I didn’t come and say hello to anyone, but I got a phone call about something that had happened on the way into the city and didn’t want to stay, but didn’t want to ride home either. Thanks everybody for being there.
