Fish Hill near Evesham and the lumps around Ilmington might have been the closest? When I rode out that way from Cov it was a mission to find long hills.

Given that none of the cycling events were actually in Birmingham, the organisers should’ve gone to the Peak District…
I don’t know what the thought process was, but given Birmingham and the West Midlands’ attitude to cycling, it didn’t surprise me how rubbish the course was.
Surprisingly good racing towards the end though, so what do I know?

Agreed … what a let down , surely they could have come up with a circuit that included some hills/places to split the race …. well done to the Australians but not very exciting …. wonder if the mens will be just as boring … ? Dennis not riding…
