• It looks like they've made it flat mount now, but an adapter sorts that out easy enough if you need. I've had the old PM version on my TCX for a few years with no issues. Including some quite enthusiastic gravelling and a decent amount of touring with bags on the fork.

  • Just bought a load of different ones, all look OK but will report back with more detail. Had used the bambas ones before and they are very good, can't really tell the difference between them and the legit Rapha PT socks.

My favourite ever pair of cycling socks were the reflective brevet, they unfortunately died last year but got a couple of copies from AX, not sure they'll compete with the real thing but we'll see.

  • The Condor one from that probably fits the bill the best, although a full carbon steerer would be even better.

  • Does anyone know of any reputable carbon gravel frames that come in really small sizes (44cm) with a low standover height? Carbonda doesn't seem to have anything that fits the bill.

  • Cheers man, would love to hear about how the stuff looks/fits! Will definitely look into bambas as seem quite popular and recommended.

  • No fiery death for me either. Better than the ultegras I had on before

  • Found a set of new 9100 series calipers couple days ago for less than the ee copies, so that sorted itself out really quick.

  • Did you get anywhere on this? The wi space slc 2.0 looks decent other than the rubbish branding

  • 3 years ago now, but how were/are the forks from SPcycles?

  • ElitaOne carbon seatpost review

Inline, plenty of diameters and lengths (I got 400mm long and 27.2). Bought first one for a road bike even though I was quite a bit heftier than the stated maximum weight. Quality/finish was very high, nice and light and with no decals bar height markers it looks pretty clean.

Was happy with the first one so ordered another for a sloping top tube gravel bike. Quality was just as good as the first one and, even with plenty of pist exposed, it’s coped with my bulk on pretty bumpy off-road rides with no problems at all. I fitted neither with carbon grip paste nor a torque wrench, just regular grease and ‘feel’.

They came quickly, at under £30 posted each are very competitively priced, no hesitations in recommending (which obviously means I’ve jinxed it now).

  • Anyone know of a reasonably priced carbon fork with dynamo routing?

  • If it's a gravel fork you need, Carbonda will do theirs with dynamo routing for an extra $10. https://www.carbonda.com/accessory/fork-cx/90.html

  • Can anyone recommend a boost mtb 100mm suspension corrected 29er fork...

There's lots out there, just want to know if anyone has any 1st hand experience?

  • 2er

Another new wheel size? When will it end

  • I dont know what you mean whistles innocently

  • Are there any 25.4 carbon inline posts out there other than Hylix?

  • Anyone use/used Juin Tech F1 brakes or any Sensah components?
Francis Cade and Trace Velo have both done vids on them, but wondered if anyone has any real world experience of them?
Looking at them for a Free Ranger/Carbonda frame build having got a proper bargain in one of PX's sales.
    Thanks!

  • I now have them on 2 bikes after a recommendation on here and think they are great.

I'm a heavy rider and they just did very well on a 2 week trip to the alps with steep descents and baggage.

  • I’ve used Juin Tech brakes for a few years now. They are great, haven’t needed to be bled once. Easy adjustments. I’d fit them again if I needed cable/hydro.

  • I’ve been looking at buying the Juin Tech GT-F which is the 4 piston version. Basically a copy of the Yokozuna Ultimo, they take mtb pads and have some very encouraging reviews. Maybe worth looking into too ! I’ll probably be buying a pair in the next couple of weeks

  • @keepitmencap @snoops Thanks for this, they look good for a fairly budget build and I like the idea of cable/hydro for touring and packing places.
Have been down a YouTube rabbit hole on Sensah kit too, might have to make it a full AliExpress build!

  • Look forward to hearing what you think to them, they certainly look good!
