Iām very hungover from my friends wedding yesterday. He got a very nice Nomos as his wedding present.
Iām wearing my Zenith. Have to say also their customer service was incredibly good. I contacted them to register it for the warranty as if you do they give you an extra year. Even though I got it off a dealer on Chrono24. They suggested sending it to them for a check up and so they could put it in my name. They sent a prepaid returns pack. Took it back serviced and checked it over and sent it back to me all within three weeks and in time for my actual birthday. With updates all the way.
In contrast trying to buy the Tissot PRX was awful. Firstly they said they couldnāt deliver to the channel islands then they changed their mind. Then they could send it but couldnāt take off the VAT. There was also some issue with the discount code I had for the website. They also would never pick up the phone or if they did theyād hang up straight away.
In the end I bought it from Goldsmiths in Jersey. When I was back visiting family for my birthday. I also managed to persuade them to give me some further discount.

Iām going to move a pair of Lord Marvels if anyones keen, let me know. Gold plated one I got from @inchpincher recently, the steel one Iāve had for a while and hereās the little article about it from when it was serviced - https://adventuresinamateurwatchfettling.com/2019/04/13/10-beats-per-second-the-lord-marvel-5740-8000/
Iād like Ā£525 for both posted or Ā£150 for the gold plated and Ā£400 for the steel.

Love my 945, easily gets the most wear out of the few watches I have. Do seem to have to do it up almost tourniquet tight to get half decent HR data though!

My first ārealā watch arrived today!
Love it. Just want to get a nato and letter strap.
Where do people recommend for best quality nato and leathers?

That's weird, I bought a FR45 last week and have been surprised at how good the HR is on it despite not worn tightly.

I've got puny wrists so maybe that's my issue!

Thanks RB, Iāll give them a shot.
Iāve seen lots of resellers on googl but wanted to get forum approved quality.

I've just got a strap from Two stitch straps which I'm really happy with for the money as all my other leather straps cost double the price of these. They had exactly what i wanted but not a huge range otherwise

Nice to see some Tudor love
Seems like they're finally get more of the case sizes down. They've shrunk the case on the cocktail time series too, which makes sense. Also changed the hands and some of the markers. Quite a wild all black version here too.
