Update on H&H rack, not the easiest fitting (my fault for having a non standard Brompton) but it certainly makes it roll so much better. Still a little wobbly and may yet get one of the wheel extender things to help stability but a quick test across tiled supermarket floor it’s a vast improvement.

What's non standard?

Alfine hub, disc brakes

Everything bar frame, stem and cranks is non-standard!

Looking at that photo again though, I think I’ve mounted the rack wrong :( it’s supposed to go behind the brake bridge not in front as I’ve put it isn’t it @sbbohr?

interesting... I've been wondering if the H&H rack would fit on an Alfine/kinetics rear triangle...

As you can see, it does. But does require a bit bending of stays, it’s not a simple fit as it would be on a standard bromton rear frame spacing. Took about an hour to fit, and some gentle persuasion to get the stays playing nicely

Brake, rack, mudguard, curved washer, bridge, curved washer, stop disc stuff

PS2L in for 2-3 conversion, been about 4 years since I rebuilt this with the P type stem, Ti bars, bb and new Hubsmith wheelset

Ok thanks. Have it the wrong side of the mudguard but not sure I can be bothered with the faff of taking it off to move it 1mm inboard…

Maybe that's why it doesn't roll as smooth...

I mean, the bike will fall apart if you don’t..

yes sir; literally just 3 sprockets, 1.8mm circlip, 11 speed chain, barrell nut, sunrace shifter / inner cable

I’m certainly not an expert, but you’re welcome to bring the bike over for me to have a look at and adjust if necessary.
