It’s the sus*pect(*trans) route between Whitstable and Canterbury, and return. So a bit of a hike from you. It’s Nc1. Starts at the harbour and ends at the cathedral, so a mixed bag of surfaces. Going has a bit of 17% crush which was much better come back down on the return leg.

Is there a link between all the fishtail sign posts dotted around? One near me at Fishbourne, for some reason thought it was Roman related, but they seem to be quite common now.

Are we maybe getting a little bit bored of 'no gravel'?

Coming into this obviously really late, and not wanting to trawl though loads of pages, but what does the 'no gravel' phrase mean in context to the photos?

Someone said there's no gravel in the UK like there is in the states, only mud.
So everyone posts pictures of gravel in the UK saying yep no gravel
