Do you just put it round your neck and the fit and weight makes it stay on, or does it need to be secured some how?

I'm getting confused by all the little random mic parts that I don't need for now.

I got it when it first came out so no strap, no additional parts.

It’s never pulled on my ears or been anywhere close to coming off. It just sits over my jacket, around my neck.

It retains some shape when bent so you just put it on and bend it around your jacked collar and that’s it.
