What’s the score with figs? I think this is ripe, can I just eat it or do I need to peel it

Probably could do with longer on the plant, but too late now. It's always a fine balance between leaving them on long enough to ripen whilst running the risk of the woodlice and ants tucking in first.

You eat all of it, bar the woody bit where it was attached to the tree.

I’m going to put them on bagels with cream cheese. Maybe some honey.

This particular tree is on our morning dog walk. The wasps normally get there before me.

Could I leave them on a window sill like tomatoes?
